She screamed, charged the cockpit and threatened to kick people in the balls — but why?

If you’ve been online in the past 24 hours, you’ve probably seen the video of the woman freaking out on an American Airlines flight. The video itself is pretty great — she tries to enter the cockpit, gets told off by a crew member and then gets into an argument with someone in first class (who happens to not be wearing shoes). What a whirlwind!

One aspect of this story that hasn’t really been explored, however, is exactly what that woman wanted. Sure, she probably wasn’t trying to take over the flight, but what was her goal?

In the video itself, she says that she “went to ask why I was late,” apparently in reference to the fact that the flight was delayed. In my experience, that’s not how this works, but hey, shooters shoot.
